well its been ages since I was able to put a post up..... had a small holiday, been busy busy busy with my OU course, but now finally I have been able to do some hobbying.....
Some of these Pictures may be familiar, I have posted an odd shot or two on FB just to prove I'm not dead....
Anyways..... as you can see from the below pics progress has been made on the Blunderhawk,
It now has wings, and the main cannon is basically there, I just need to build the housing for it to add to the top of the rear superstructure, oh and then find/build 4 twin-linked heavy bolter turret/sponsons....
on a completely separate note, and in yet another demonstration of my ludicrously short attention span, I got distracted by a competition and started building a new terrain piece.....
this will be a generic ( as in no 4tk iconography) landing pad..... the sides are 150mm each as a regular(ish) hexagon, so while it wouldn't fit the blunderhawk most smaller ships/landing craft will...
And just cos I could and cos well sometimes you need to make a landing at night..... I did this to it.....
the green strips are a cheap EL wire kit I picked up a year or so ago, and the red lights are LED'S from a modified poundland rear bike light, which means they can flash in a variety of patterns...... and the EL has a strobe mode as well.....
sooo thats about it so far this Easter weekend, hope you enjoyed the read, comments are always welcomed.
Happy Easter, TWTs
Very cool some good progress.
